"Around the Rock" Expedition T-Shirts

The money that is raised for the "Around the Rock" expedition via pledges goes entirely to benefit child literacy programs; none of this money is used to offset the costs of the expedition itself. (The biggest single expense will be gasoline, as the drive from Tacoma to St. John’s and back will cover more than 11,000 miles, but there are many other costs as well). As a way to offset these considerable expenses, expedition t-shirts are available for purchase. These high-quality, 100% cotton shirts feature the expedition logo on the left chest, and a dynamic line-art kayaking scene on the back, with the words: "AROUND THE ROCK; NEWFOUNDLAND 2000. A BENEFIT FOR LITERACY OUTREACH."

Shirts are available in a wide array of colors. (However, due to increased demand and dwindling supply,, many of the colors that used to be available are now gone. Please specify what your first choice of color is, and every effort will be made to get it to you.) Sizes available are S-XXL. White shirts feature navy print. All colored shirts feature white print.

Shades of Gray; Sea Kayaking in Western Washington

Whether you are new to the sport of sea kayaking or a seasoned old-timer, a resident of the Pacific Northwest or a wayward alien, "Shades of Gray" will define Washington sea kayaking for you in a way few other books have been able to do. The pictures and the stories evoke the magic of Northwest waters on every page… the next best thing to being there in person.

"Campbell’s collection of kayaking essays are vintage Northwest tales."
Carolyn Price
Publisher, Sports Etc. Magazine

"The thing I like most about this book is that it takes you there by armchair, and then, in the appendix, tells you how to get there yourself. While reading, I could feel the paddle in my hands."
Neil Frazer
Author, "Boat Camping the Inside Passage"

From Willapa Bay to Lake Union, from the Northern San Juan Islands to the wild Olympic Coast, "Shades of Gray" is your passport to Washington sea kayaking adventure.
